[ Ciri might not have noticed him inside the keep, if not for the fact she'd glimpsed someone on the steps as she was leaving her own little cottage on the outskirts. It sits against the mountainside, but with the wall around Kaer Morhen in disrepair, the cottage is situated so that Ciri can easily see into the courtyard through a crumbled gap in the stone.
The figure definitely isn't Geralt. And it isn't anyone she recognizes. Still, she notices the wolf does not appear agitated, only raising his head to look out at the intruder without any signs of aggression, only mild interest. Curious, Ciri decides to see what's going on.
Perhaps sensing her vague unease, the wolf -- which had been lying down near her doorway before -- stands and shakes its fur out, loping after her as she moves toward the keep.
Ciri pushes the doors open, peering inside. She sees a man she's never met before. Casually holding a sword and what she recognizes now as a gun.
She frowns. Not aggressive (not yet), but just... confused. ]
