I'm teaching 'em what I can, but fighting when you're over six feet tall is a whole different language than fighting when you're five foot nothin and a hundred and twenty pounds soaking wet

What kind of weapons are they familiar with?

Guns are numero uno, but obviously those aren't as readily available here as they are back home. They're both good with machetes and knives. Translates pretty decently to a short sword in a pinch. Pretty sure Jo can handle a crossbow with the best of 'em, too.

If they want to learn, I can give them some advice. Show them a few things. Up to them.

[ If they're hunters like Dean, they should have some sense. At least some training. But Ciri's not signing up to babysit anyone. ]

I don't know Claire as well as I know Jo, but she seems sharp. Strong.

Jo's talented as hell, she'll take to it like a fish to water, I can tell you that much.

[ Talent is only a part of it. She can be talented as hell, but if she's too stubborn to listen to Ciri's expertise, the result is the same. Ciri doesn't know either Jo or Claire very well yet, but if Dean is asking her this favor-- she's willing to give them a chance. ]

They plan on making a living hunting monsters too?

Unless I manage to pull off a god damn miracle and convince them to go back to college or bartend or something, but considering how well that's been going so far I'm not holding my breath.

You want me to train my own competition.

They're not going solo, at least not for a while. I'm taking them with me for a few months at least, so they're gonna end up splitting my pay-out, don't worry.

But I'll pay you in iTunes gift cards if you're feeling froggy.

( But yes, he'll be taking them with him. It's not that he doesn't trust Ciri to keep them safe, he would, he just trusts himself more — rather, he considers it his own responsibility. If they went out with her or by themselves (or through some bizarre act of God, they wound up going out with Geralt somehow) he'd worry every minute until he had his own two eyes on them again. )
