[ Well, that's a bit of a relief, if Dean's supposition is correct. If Jo's not itching to prove something to somebody, then she's less likely to try to bite off more than she can chew first thing. Restlessness and feeling purposeless are both good drivers, but in Ciri's opinion, less dangerous ones. ]

If you're asking my honest opinion, I don't think she should go alone. But I'd say that for nearly anyone.

And she definitely needs a better sword, if it's to be her main weapon. I'm not convinced it should be. Crossbow's not a bad choice for most monsters - given, of course, that your aim is good.
